Almost everyone on this newsgroup (except for the few adults)
misunderstands the extremely simple behavior I always exhibit.

1. When people post brazen lies about Apple products, 
   I prove them wrong.

2. Otherwise, I post facts about Apple products, and if people
   brazenly deny those facts, I prove them wrong.

I posted a fact about Apple just last week and nobody denied it.
So there was no need to prove them wrong.

The fact is only Apple *requires* 2FA from now on, and forevermore.
You can't remove 2FA anymore. As of February 2023 it has been this way.

FACT:
a. If you create a new AppleID (as I did on my new iPads)
b. You *must* also give Apple your personal phone number
c. Otherwise, you can't log into your Apple device

I contacted Apple support and they confirmed this has been the new (rather
secret) Apple policy since February 2023 - which none of you likely know.

That's just a fact that you *must* provide Apple a phone number.
And you *must* have that phone with you for the rest of your life.
Every time you log into an Apple device.

The three hour-long calls to Apple support provided far more detail.
But that's the summary that nobody on this newsgroup denied is fact.

So there was thankfully no need to prove any of you wrong.
As my facts are never wrong (they're always supported by Apple herself).
