I dunno, adaptions can be good. It's just that nobody involved in those 
big projects ever seems to be interested in making good products and 
instead goes for whatever might make them the most bucks.
(which is funny because then some genuinely good adaption of some stuff 
comes out and everyone learns exactly the wrong lessons from it)
