### - here's a typical bet of mines on tomorrow's racing...

the stakes are low but the returns are potentially huge/life-changing!

plus, and after careful scrutiny, all 5 horses indeed have a fair chance  
of winning :)

1:50 Newmarket: Desert Doctor @ 9/1

3:00 Newmarket: Walkinthesand @ 8/1

3:35 Newmarket: Orchid Star @ 12/1

2:40 Exeter: Master Work @ 11/2

3:50 Exeter: The Happy Chappy @ 7/1

10 x 10p win trebles
  5 x 29p win 4/folds
  1 x 40p each-way accumulator

To return:
£ 35167.43
Total stake:
£ 3.25

as you can see, the whole bet doesn't come to more than £3.25 (approx.  
$4.26)

yet the way an accumulator works, and provided all 5 win, they multiply  
together to return a rather amazing £35,167.43! (approx. $46,072.00)

the minimum i've covered here being the trebles (means: needs at least 3  
to win for a payout)

but then also the 4/folds, in which any 4 out of 5 still pays quite a  
large sum (which is what i had that last time when collecting £1100.00)

that if 'all' 5 win there's then payouts on all 10 trebles, the 5 4/folds  
+ the each-way accumulator!

so let's see what happens eh? (smile)

(slider slowly pulls the handle on the 'less than random' 5-reel slots  
machine and stands back...)

could this be the... one?? (may be!)

i've done my bit anyway, and it's the absolute best i could do under the  
circumstances, the rest is now all up to fate or infinity, or whatever  
ya's wants to call it hehehe...

it's no longer in 'my' hands anyway!

in which case, i shall now wander-off doing something else entirely until  
all the races are over, and then come back later and check the results...

the horsey's are my friends! ;) hehehe
