This was only recently, in 2016 where this was being discussed.

OK. You want the truth, because you really don't accept it very well.

I do not advocate ANY driver update program. I only update drivers if
one is causing issues and then I go to either the computer manufacturers
website or the motherboard manufacturers website and get the latest
driver from there. For keeping the system clean I use CCleaner which
cleans out the temp files. For removal of any garbage I use ADWCleaner
and Malwarebytes. Generally with a good antivirus you don't get too much
garbage though. Bitdefender, Kaspersky, or Avast if you want a free one
are all fairly good.

I'm not calling you a liar, I'm saying you are being conned. There is a

Which it is. McAfee amongst others doesn't like it.

I'm against all bullshit programs that claim to do something but are
really just a placebo, or make dishonest claims about their effectiveness.

Can it? Sales sure, but downloads are a completely different kettle of
fish. You see, people often download the same program more than one
time. Amongst other reasons why download numbers can be very inflated.

Anything on the internet is publicly published information. You might
want to apologise for calling me a stalker. I see you corrected my
spelling mistake.
