Toyota often installs subsystems even if they are not completely
implemented. For example my 2007 didn't have a radio but it did have
speakers and the wiring harness.

My current one beeps but doesn't apply the brakes if it thinks I'm closing
too fast. It also displays the lane control icon but takes no action. It
does not have remote entry but does have electric locks. I do find that
useful.

It does have stability and traction control but Toyota finally realized
there are situations where they should be disabled. That wasn't an option
in the previous models. If you've ever tried to rock a car out of snow
with traction control or drive more than 20 mph on dirt roads you realize
how much both 'features' can suck.

I guess ABS is useful but I've only triggered it a few times in the past
20 years. A couple of times I was playing to see what it would do.
