so I right clicked the 'rocket ship' (RS) icon for the program in the 
menu, and chose 'properties'. Then I clicked on the rocket ship icon in 
the Launcher Properties box that appeared and I was able to change it to 
one from the many available in the various categories listed. Then I 
repeated that for each RS program. However the actual programs the 
launchers were for were not listed, so I just chose icons that would 
remind me what the program was.
