Then I booted a live Mageia and went thru' a little dance to get more packages listed so that I could add the tainted. I don't like how Mageia handles the default condition of a live boot; I was able to 'get past' its backward condition and install chromium after I added tainted. Then I opened the Mageia chromium and approached the process of enabling the pw manager similar to how I did it in MX, but I found that the Mageia chromium already had that condition 'offer to save passwords' already enabled, perhaps because I had enabled the encryption which I had not done in MX. -- Mike Easter
