I finally (finally!) got my Sonic 10G fiber-to-the-home connection.
Feels good to be back on-network -- for a while, I had to get gigabit
from {expletive deleted}. (As one of the Sonic co-founders, that was
a bit embarrassing.)
The Sonic 10G router connects to my 10G switch, which connects
both my 10G NAS and 10G workstation. The latter is Linux,
which I'm using to route between the old local network and
the new local network.
[ I was grousing about having to configure all our wifi gadgets to
use the new network (first world problems), but realized I could
rename the old network, then name then new network the old network
SSID. (Like, duh.) Anyway: done and done. ]
