GNUstep failed to run after first time installation on Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. Errors: None I followed the installation procedure to the letter as explained on this page: http://www.gnustep.org/windows/installer.html Installed it in the default path as supplied, all defaults followed. I read the installation notes after each install, not that they contained much to do. There were no errors during the install and compatibility/administrator rights troubleshooter had no effect regardless of configuration. Event viewer shows: Faulting application name: ProjectCenter.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x577c60e7 Faulting module name: libffi-6.dll, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x5766f013 Exception code: 0xc000001d Fault offset: 0x00002764 Faulting process id: 0x15d4 Faulting application start time: 0x01d55e4cb030e95b Faulting application path: C:\GNUstep\GNUstep\System\Applications\ProjectCenter.app\ProjectCenter.exe then Fault bucket , type 0 Event Name: APPCRASH Response: Not available Cab Id: 0 Problem signature: P1: ProjectCenter.exe P2: 0.0.0.0 P3: 577c60e7 P4: libffi-6.dll P5: 0.0.0.0 P6: 5766f013 P7: c000001d P8: 00002764 P9: P10: When running GORM Faulting application name: Gorm.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x5791cb44 Faulting module name: libffi-6.dll, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x5766f013 Exception code: 0xc000001d Fault offset: 0x00002764 Faulting process id: 0x1010 Faulting application start time: 0x01d55e4cc1c3f93d Faulting application path: C:\GNUstep\GNUstep\Local\Applications\Gorm.app\Gorm.exe Faulting module path: C:\GNUstep\GNUstep\System\Tools\libffi-6.dll The programs do not run, they generate no user errors. Simply, nothing happens.
