Hello, I have read on internet , and i think that kubunto 64 bit have a problem to recognize Window 2008 server and Window 7 for exemple, so i think that i will have a problem with that. Finally i have decided to not install Linux, let me tell you that i now a little bit of Linux(and other Unixes) and Perl, and what i don't like in them is that they both have the spirit of the C language, and i think that all the systems or languages that are inspired a lot buy the C language, are too complicated to work with, i am a fan of the Object Pascal spirit that is: the easy of use and to work with and to maintain, the Object Pascal spirit look like the Javascript spirit and the Windows spirit, it is why i am a fan of Windows, Object Pascal and Javascript , i can classify Object Pascal in the same group as Javascript, they are both more easier to learn and to work with than Java, C# or C/C++, so although it's easy to port my Parallel archiver and my Parallel compression library to the Unix systems like Linux etc. i will not port them to the those systems,so i still remain a fan of Windows , Object Pascal and Javascript. Thank you, Amine Moulay Ramdane. are more complicated than Windows and Object Pascal On 3/8/2013 2:09 PM, aminer wrote: > Hello all, > > As you have noticed i have implemented > Parallel archiver and Parallel compression library, they are working > perfecty under Windows 32 bit and 64 bit, but i want them now portable > also to Linux(x86) and Mac OSX(x86) and to other systems > also such us Spark etc. , so i have tried first to install Linux Open > SuSe 64 bit, but i had a problem to install it on my hardware, it stoped > to install with an error, so after > that i have choosen to install Linux Mint > 64 bit, but Linux Mint didn't recognize my Windows 64 bit system and > this was a problem for me, now i want to install kubuntu 64bits, so my > question is: > does kubunto 64 bit recognize the Windows system and configure Grub > correctly to boot up Windows system also ? > > > > Thank's > Amine Moulay Ramdane.
