A bunch of blithering idiots on the Internet and Usenet have claimed
"Linux is perfect." or some distribution of Linux is "perfect."
(period, with no qualifications whatsoever), or Linux is perfect for any
computing situation.

Are they telling the truth? See here for many examples of perfection,
and judge for yourself:

Mint: http://forums.linuxmint.com/
Ubuntu: http://ubuntuforums.org
Fedora: http://fedoraforum.org/
Mageia: https://forums.mageia.org/en/
Debian: http://forums.debian.net/
openSUSE: http://forums.opensuse.org/

CentOS: http://www.centos.org/modules/newbb/
Puppy: http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/

And see below for many examples of the mental illness, dishonesty, and
schizophrenia that runs rampant in the Linux "community".

Linux Format May 2009 issue: Find The Perfect Distro

"[Ubuntu] is the perfect Linux distribution for converting people who
normally would pass on the idea of Linux"

"Linux Mint gives you a perfect out-of-the-box experience"

"Linux Mint is the perfect candidate for all Linux converts."

"Puppy Linux is the perfect distro for a USB stick install"
