If you are use to using KDE 3.5, Q4OS comes with the latest Trinty DE (KDE 3.5 kept current) https://q4os.org/ https://q4os.org/downloads1.html They have LiveCds you can check out, also install CDs. I see they also have options to install KDE5, XFCE, LXQT, Cinnamon and LXDE alternative desktop environments options and many more. (Options available via installer) Also they have simple frontends for a lot of configs etc. like MX, AntiX, Mepis has. It is aimed at GUI type users as is Mepis, MX, and Mint.
