You were correct: it was the order of cards in the slots that caused the
crash. When I swapped the TimeMaster II and Uthernet II cards, there was no
crash. This seems to be indicative of a bug in the slot detection code for
the Uthernet II.

My Uthernet II is in slot 6 and the TimeMaster II is in slot 3 now.

I did not use the KCONFIG option.
