I made a trip down to ye local library earlier today to check out a particular book on C programming, the White Bible. Well, along the way, I also noticed another book on the shelf that caught my eye on C programming. I flipped through it, then realized that I should check it out too. It's called Personal Computing and C, written by John A. Gainsborough Not only does it cover C, but it covers specifically Manx Aztec C on the Apple DOS 3.3 operating system (as well as the PC too). The edition I have is dated 1985, published by Ashton-Tate Publishing Group. The ISBN is 0-912677-45-7 Excerpt from the back: "You begin by exploring compilers. The practical examples show new C programmers how to use compilers with the CP/M, Apple/DOS, and MS/PC-DOS operating systems. The author discusses compiled languages versus interpreted languages, choosing a compiler, steps in compiling, and running a program using a compiler. Next, a step-by-step guide demonstrates the basics of programming in C, including displaying and manipulating data, creating and using function libraries, and working with the C preprocessor." -- ]DF$ Mac GUI Vault - A source for retro Apple II and Macintosh computing. http://macgui.com/vault/
