Reached > the point where I don't really want a landline phone. Quite a few I know have given up on their landline now, just have mobiles. And some don't have any phone on their landline they have to have for their ADSL service, because the spam calls are a complete pain in the arse. Just had someone who didn't realise they had a landline when they wanted to complain to Telstra about a problem with their adsl service and don't have a Telstra mobile to call Telstra from. He borrowed a handset from work to call Telstra for the cost of a local call.
