I read the comment by sthibaul on lwn.net. The post says to test the nvme driver from rump. I would like to, so I tried using the documentation from https://darnassus.sceen.net/~hurd-web/hurd/rump/rumpdisk/ and https://darnassus.sceen.net/~hurd-web/hurd/running/flash_qemu_img/ Instead of switching hd occurences to wd I set it to ld. I guess the correct naming is nvme instead of ld: https://man.netbsd.org/nvme.4 My BIOS does not detect the NVMe hard disk now. I guess the correct naming is necessary for the BIOS. Is there any documentation that I missed I should read. Searching for nvme does not bring up much in my e-mail. What is the MAX memory? When I try booting from kvm I use -m 4G and it crashes during bootup around dmalloc. 3G seems to work though. I read one having 12 G. My computer has about 20G total. Thanks! Eric
