Package: release.debian.org Control: affects -1 + src:libxslt X-Debbugs-Cc: libxslt@packages.debian.org X-Debbugs-Cc: aron@debian.org User: release.debian.org@packages.debian.org Usertags: pu Tags: trixie Severity: normal [ Reason ] The deterministic generate-id() backport stores IDs in xmlNode.psvi in deb13u1. That collides with pre-existing psvi users in libxslt and libxml2, including result tree fragment bookkeeping, and triggers runtime failures such as: generate-id(): psvi already set. [ Impact ] This issue has caused several packages in stable FTBFS during the generation of docs. [ Tests ] This patch was proposed by Aron and I manually tested it with one of the affected packages, libzeep. [ Checklist ] [x] *all* changes are documented in the d/changelog [x] I reviewed all changes and I approve them [x] attach debdiff against the package in (old)stable [x] the issue is verified as fixed in unstable [ Changes ] libxslt (1.1.35-1.2+deb13u3) trixie; urgency=medium * Non-maintainer upload. * Fix deterministic generate-id() regression introduced in previous fix by moving the stable ID generation into a per-transform, per-document hash table. (Closes: #1114928) -- Miao Wang <shankerwangmiao@gmail.com> Fri, 10 Apr 2026 06:56:30 +0000 Attached is the debdiff.
