You can dump Win8's "Start Screen" for whatever.

I wrote my own "start button", way better than Win7's "Start";
I never see "Metro" ( the Start Screen ).

I disabled the upper⋅left and upper⋅right hot corners;
because that's where my taskbar is.

Win8 rocks !
