See: I talk about tech. You two talk about your fantasizes of me.
In the end, though, desktop Linux will STILL improve. It will not be held
back to the standards of having the CLI be the "Linux way" as you describe.
The GUI side will continue to get better and better.
In the past you have talked about "winning" and "losing" -- I suppose that
is the closest thing I see, in terms of Linux, to be a win or a loss. When
it becomes better and more useful it is a win, when it takes a step back it
is a loss. And to SOME extent this can be measured by usage share.
And desktop Linux, even while still the underdog, is getting better and
better. It -- and I -- are winning. You cannot stop it no matter how hard
you try.
By the way, you never thanked me for showing you a fact about UNIX: the
command line tools you use on Linux generally work with it, too, including
macOS of course:
<https://youtu.be/XKc8bgBeWYs>
As noted, however, macOS handles this better than any Linux DE I have
seen... none of them allow you to so easily pull the path over from an open
window where you do not see the folder in the file browser. Maybe you can
show where I am wrong. I am open to the idea I certainly might be.
How about it? A focus on tech... dealing with a script YOU wrote to show off
the capabilities of Linux. Why not show how it works on Linux and, if it
does, how it is better than on the competition? No insults. No attacks. Just
a discussion of tech -- focusing on Linux.
Are you up to it?
--
Personal attacks from those who troll show their own insecurity. They cannot
use reason to show the message to be wrong so they try to feel somehow
superior by attacking the messenger.
They cling to their attacks and ignore the message time and time again.
