Agreed... you can keep Olive Garden. :)

I have eaten all of those, but NOT in their native countries and, I am sure,
the Americanized version of many. I have been to France for a short time and
the food was great there, too. And I have spent time in New York where you
can get a very wide variety. Also California (both LA area and San
Francisco).

We do most of our own cooking at home -- eating out only rarely. We ended up
with a bunch of veggies (already had some and then a friend was moving and
gave stuff to us) so have been having a lot of stir fries... non-authentic.
Last night I made a peanut-lime sauce (Pad Thai inspired but by no means the
same) and tonight a sweet and sour sauce. I am sure very authentic with my
use of ketchup. :)
