Version 1.54, the last one I built (and which I have failed to release
in any meaningful way) added support for STARTTLS and fixed a few minor
bugs and zero page accesses.  Version 1.55 adds support for NNTPS, the
secure-from-get-go version of NNTP.

If you don't need STARTTLS or NNTPS and you haven't noticed any bugs
or ZeroPain logs, you don't need to upgrade.  That having been said,
NewsHound is free, and I know of nothing that the newer versions take
away.
