(That's the thing I want > to change). In Eureka with the sheet and the chart visible, Ctrl-Select the chart. This gives the chart a thick grey perimeter and its own menu. Then either Ctrl-L or Menu -> Options -> Legend to choose where you want the legend. By default the legend box will have a drop shadow. To repeat your example, Select the legend box, then either Ctrl-F4 or Menu -> Format -> Pattern and choose None from the Shadow drop-down menu. Bernard -- b.boase@bcs.org
