"->" is defined as it's own unique punctuator in 6.4.6, just like "++"
and "*=". It's more independent than a++, b*=c, or d[e], because the
descriptions of all three of those operators reference the corresponding
more fundamental operators: a=a+1; b = b*c; *(d+e). "f->g" could have
been defined as *(f).g. That identity is perfectly valid, but "f->g" is
actually defined directly without reference to the "*" or "." operators:
see 6.5.2.3p2,4.
