I agree.
I suspect it's absent from the current list because it's considered a
postfix operator rather than a binary operator, since the right operand
is an identifier rather than an expression with a value.
I looked over the other postfix operators, and didn't find any others
for which this would be a reasonable thing to do. However, there's two
binary operators that seem to have been skipped: ||= and &&= could both
be convenient in some circumstances.
