I seem to be getting an increasing number of 'blank' posts on newsgroups
with the text reading something like:-

Lines: 218
Bytes: 14647

I'm using Pluto and NewsHound, with fetches from aioe, followed by
news.eternal-september.

They are sometimes from a regular poster and contain normal text - which I
often see later as quotes in another post.

They seem to be also cross posted to one or more group I don't subscribe
to - is that the reason and is there a work round?
