HForm error

Hi,

I can't format a Western Digital 80GB harddrive (brand new in a sealed
bag)...

Both HForm 2.54 (21 Jan 2003) and HForm 2.56 (12 Apr 2002) give the
same repeating error, whatever parameters I try:

  'Format error on this track'

Does this suggest a duff harddrive?  Any help will be gratefully
received.
