For historical interest, here's his correspondence to me (actually he contacted me, rather than the other way round - I had forgotten that detail): === Hi mate - about a year ago you posted this thread: http://www.iconbar.com/forums/viewthread.php?threadid=10008 I realise it was a long time ago, but I just googled and came across it. In your list you have the game: Gorm v1.40 (1994)(Archimedes World) Well.. I wrote that :) As Arc World distributed it, they officially held the copyright, but they are no more. Not sure legally how it stands, but I have no objection with you distributing it if you want. Do you have a copy? Would be fascinating to see what my programming was like 14 years ago! Kind regards Chris === I replied, telling him I loved Gorm. He responded once again: === Hi Jason, Thats cool - didn't realise anyone really got into the game, glad to hear it was fun! All programmed with good old BBC BASIC.. Don't know if you ever saw the full 2-part solution in Archimedes World that I wrote, I don't think I have those back issues any more, and the electronic version has long since been lost :( I'm in London now, working as a developer for a web agency, but I long for the days I used to be able to work away on little projects and get them onto cover disks! Though the pay back then wasn't so good - Arc World gave me the not-so-generous sum of £40 for the entire game and complained that the game was getting too big - the reason behind the pictures being simple black & white I seem to remember! Making me feel all nostalgic :) Cheers Chris ===
