I have been asked by Andrew to post the follow on his behalf as he does
not post to newsgroups, to answer your questions.
Quote:
The changes aren't huge - these are both free updates, so mostly
addressing bugs or small requests.
NetFetch changelog:
5.56 Tweak to Hermes !Run, and synchronised Hermes/NetFetch versions
5.55 Fix for spaces in account name not showing on mailbox menu.
Hermes updated to cope with newer SocketWatch.
Newshound updated to 1.54 with AcornSSL support.
FTPc updated to 1.56.
5.54 Unknown Jan 2021 update - possibly relates to Newshound update.
Messenger changes:
9.03 Resolved issue with IMAP resulting from the 9.01 Sender changes.
9.02 Improved error reporting for IMAP errors
9.01 Each user may configure a default "Sender" header for all outgoing
emails. With Newsbase, the Envelope user attribute is
commandeered for this purpose.
(This was added because some ISPs require a fixed "Sender"
header for their SMTP server regardless of other details.)
Best wishes,
Andrew
