I'm pretty sure there was a Japanese IME made by Castle. I'm not sure if it's publicly available, or if it can be publicly available. But the InternationalIME module of Castle's is only half an IME really, as far as I can see. It provides a basic framework for converting input strings into something more useful (in the JP case, romaji->kana->kanji), but there's no overall integration into the WIMP that I'm aware of. One of these days I intend to get around to doing something about that, but my time is very, very limited unfortunately. Cheers, WPB
