If you actually mean "USB-C", then you don't need System Information
... just look at the ports on the side. USB-C is a different shape and
size to the established USB ports. That's why you need an adaptor to be
able to plug in things like normal USB keyring drives. The only real
reason for the change is Ive's obsession with making everything thinner
and thinner.  :-\

If by "USB-C" you really meant "USB 3", then you do need System
Information or Apple's spec sheet. You can't necessarily tell from the
shape / size of the port.
