	One of the catches with this sort of thing is that nobody is going
to stump up for clinical trials on something they can't patent and compared
to a proper clinical trial nothing that gets done for a research paper is
even close to conclusive.

	We got lucky with aspirin there would be no hope of getting it
trialled under today's regime. OTOH the poster child for the need for good
clinical trials is of course thalidomide - nobody wants another one like
that.

	My take - if it does no harm then it's worth a try but if there's
evidence or even strong indications that it causes its own problems steer
well clear.
