In the past Android has used at least one scaled-down version of a GNU
standard library ( libstdc++  ?)  I see they've replaced it with
non-free code.  Stallman, shut out!

...and, as such, shares no code with Unix, thereby making it NOT Unix.

Yeah, auto makers make other auto makers' autos, too, but that doesn't
make one into the other.  Brewers, too.  If Miller makes Pabst, that
doesn't mean that Pabst bottles contain Miller beer.

I understand a GNU/Linux distro being granted the Unix certification.
That doesn't mean it is Unix, just that it complies with certain
standards, not code identity.
