I occasionally still use TP 3.01a, and work full-time with Virtual Pascal,
FreePascal cannot handle one TP originated construction, that I use all the
time, and frankly, the last time I looked at the IDE and Debugger, they sucked,
big time! Next to that, the generated code is of TP/BP/VP quality, pretty
shitty, so I prefer hacking the VP generated assembler code, and the fact that I
have to resort to that relic of TP 1/2/3, coding Pentium+ instructions using
db's doesn't really bother me in the least.

You'd have to to to news.groups.proposals, but don't hold year breath!

comp.lang.asm.x86 was made a moderated group, and is now, thanks to a single
now-deceased moderator, dead, and attempts to revive it have so far failed
miserably, and it's apparently not possible to remove the
this-is-a-moderated-group flag...
