Skills, Experience and Knowledge: 
````````````````````````````````````````````````
10+ years of demonstrated working knowledge and experience in the following:
* Application development process, design/architecture documentation, etc.;
* Object Oriented design and development, design patterns, and create detailed design documents using UML notation (e.g. class diagrams, physical data model);
* Code languages and environments in Java, (J2EE) including JSF/Hibernate/iBATIS/ Spring/Struts frameworks, JSP/Servlets, XML, JDBC and EJB;
* Construction of complex query statements;
* Data migration from legacy systems to Oracle database;
* Various database structures;
* Integrating mainframe technology, preferably with iSERIES/AS/400 (RPG, LANSA, etc.) and Websphere/Oracle platform;
* J-rules engine;
* Stellent/UCM/Web Centre content management system;
* Security implementation for web-based systems (e.g. single sign on, role-based security, etc.);
* Various automated testing tools, performance considerations and performance testing tools in different environments;
* Systems analysis and design in large, complex systems environments;
* Data and process modelling methodologies, techniques and tools, including a working knowledge and understanding of metadata structures, repository functions, and data dictionaries; 
* Develop enterprise architecture deliverables (e.g. business, logical and physical models) based on Enterprise Application Processes and Modeling methodology and guidelines;
* Data analysis with investigative and logic skills;
* Detail-oriented analytical skills and resourcefulness in issue resolution;
* Strong oral/written communication skills;
* Work effectively with others in a team-based, matrix environment;
* Proven high motivation level and superior attention to detail.

Scope of Services and Deliverables:

* Design, write, and develop Java applications, including system utilities for testing, monitoring, and administration of applications;
* Design and implement middleware services using JSF/Hibernate/iBATIS/Spring frameworks, EJBs and Adapter Libraries;
* Participate in change management, requirements analysis and definition;
* Provide specialized technical expertise in the overall analysis of the design and architecture of systems solutions based on strong hands on experience;
* Identify short and long-term project goals/objectives, and as a senior technical expert, define and identify program and service delivery requirements in support of the development and/or acquisition of client applications;
* Lead the analysis, development and documentation of design and architecture of systems solutions;
* Lead the development of testing, integration and implementation of systems solutions into the clients’ applications;
* Migrate applications/data from AS/400 system;
* Debug, test, and install complex applications;
* Diagnose and resolve complex application software problems;
* Develop test procedures and test platforms;
* Assist with mitigating performance issues;
* Collaborate with Application Development team and other cross functional teams to solve project and customer issues;
* Maintain, develop and update the structured framework (security implementation, design, layout, graphical content and navigation);
* Ensure compliance with client’st software development standards, including SDLC and PMLC;
* Complete work and achieve milestones within the assigned deadlines;
* Notify Project Managers in writing of any issues or other material concerns related to the assignment deliverables, as soon as they become aware of them;
* Submit deliverables for approval as they are completed. Comply with the client’s security procedures and practices.
