#827743 — Emergence of new species

SubjectEmergence of new species

before it was called punctuated equilibrium..
it happened to fast an left no fossils.
Why at a species jump would there be
a fossil exception?
It was given a new name to start it over
the missing links.

We find intermediate fossils all the time, Roy. It is an interesting
science you know nothing about.

> It was given a new name to start it over
> the missing links.

With plants, at least, a new species can technically be created in one
generation with no intermediates possible. If the parents are diploid
but the offspring tetraploid, the offspring could not reproduce with the
diploid parent species to produce fertile young, but could with other
tetraploid plants produced the same way. That meets the definition of
different species. But normally species transitions are gradual, and
they can and do leave fossils.

Then why are there missing links you moron?
why are they at species jumps?

Because all relevant fossils haven't been found, Roy. But they find more
all the time.

> why are they at species jumps?

Other than something like what I described with plants, the so-called
"jumps" are actually slow, but may appear quick compared to million-year
timelines. Especially when intermediate fossils haven't been found. For
example, perhaps you may be considered a (de-)evolution of humans to
something dumber, and it would look like a species jump if they didn't
find your monkey ancestors.

How would they be left out in the first place?
How could there be a special kind of fossil?
at the biggest DNA jump instead?

If all the rest are not special?
science was right to claim that
they could not explain emergence...
or species jumps that have a maximum
order or DNA change... why would
that be missing?

Smitch, you moron, there is nobody to tell the paleontologists where to
dig. There is no fossil divining rod. Plus there are many, many places
where they simply can't dig. It's often pure luck to find a useful fossil.

> How could there be a special kind of fossil?

There is no special type of fossil. Fossils are fossils.

> If all the rest are not special?

There is no special fossil. Only fossils which can reveal lots of new
information.

You need to Google those things, Roy.

Then why would some be different?
why would some not be found?
there is no special place for the missing link
to hide you moron.... it would be around
with the rest in a statistical way.
They do not hide...

Genius needs time to incubate. In the meantime, you have Sergio here to entertain you.

As I wrote earlier, real(tm) scientists are published in peer reviewed
journals. So please provide citations to your articles published in
peer reviewed journals. Thanks in advance.

OTOH, if you fail to produce such citations, you're not a real(tm)
scientist. Here's your opportunity.

Only cranks (not real(tm) scientists) believe that. Peer review assures
advances in science, without it there is nothing new, just the same old
blubber similar to the crap you're spouting. You seem to claim you're
advancing science, but without peer review you're just a wannabe at
best.

How do you know religion is not real.
Why did Einstein have a God.
He said on his last day that the
atheists were his problem all
along. They had to do science
for a wrong reason.
