Your comment made me start to wonder about these two. So is McGinn

Back in India, my uncle died in the latest flare up. Those I know report such loss in social media. Earlier my cousin was in ICU. Other relations also had Covid but they recovered.

He was a commando officer in the Indian Army. Fought in the war in 1971 and personally knew the top generals. The fittest 72 year old one could think of. Was in the most excellent health. His wife, my aunt by marriage also had covid along with their chauffeur who probably infected them. But they recovered. He had the very best medical care India can offer, for my aunt was one of the most senior bureaucrats in India.
My conclusion is that this is a serious disease. It may more easily kill already sick people but no one is immune.

I doubt that. They may say so or even think so and look so but if 
they're not really physically active every day to near limits they go 
downhill without knowing. Immune system response doesn't show itself to 
outside observers.

Even as a young man many times I caught cold I'd run a few miles to 
profuse sweating state then immediately took a very good shower then 
went to bed for at least 10 hours of rest. I always left the bed totally

to work. Work had to be physically demanding for that option to work 
quickly.

If I'd just sit at home same cold would take two weeks to gradually get 
worse then subside and slowly go away! So physical activity is the key.

The Turcaud boots cured me permanently from the bad cold which afflicted me for 15 months.

They are a gift by the late Sir Jean-Paul Turcaud to the world. According to him, the Muslim world and the Asians use it. Various diseases can be easily and cheaply cured.
