Lets allow that intellectual giant HVAC who has studied Latin to a very high level and is a fallen away Catholic explain in exact detail how these Latin words would be used and exactly what they mean. ----------- The homily is a part of the Catholic mass where someone, typically the priest, speaks to the parishioners on religious topics. Note that this is *what* is was 40 years ago. I haven't been to a mass in some time.
