In the real world, where I live, the city collects money & gives nothing in return; it virtue signals, nothing more. Nothing is greener than "Greenhouse Earth". Dirty coal is OK for China & India, but Seattleites have to drive Tesla's or get out.

Coal trains rumble through town frequently, all headed west. They have to make a detour to BC because Washington and Oregon are too good to allow coal to be shipped from their ports. The coal is high quality anthracite which is much less polluting than the bituminous or lignite that is used if anthracite isn't available. It's ironic that after screwing themselves several different ways Germany is firing up the coal power generation plants and most burn lignite. Germany has some bituminous but I don't think there is any anthracite.
