- Ok, it is completed and tested now. The jet-engined form of Shahed 136
suicide drone is named Shahed 238 and moves 600 km/hr !... Compare that
to Shahed 136 which at fastest speed only reaches 180 km/hr.

The Chinese were also working on a similar design, I don't know if Iran
beat them to it or there's just no news of the Chinese one.

Its warhead is more powerful than even the most powerful warhead choice
on 136.

This is how Shahed 238 looks:

https://i.postimg.cc/527BfK3G/Shahed-238.jpg

136 has definitely been a successful design, selling well to many
countries, including Russia. Cheap to make, inexpensive to sell, and
able to loiter in the sky for a long time until a need arises for its
use. But the 238 remains to be seen how expensive it is. If it's too
expensive then it might not compete with 136 as far as selling them is
concerned. But definitely it remains a more valuable weapon for Iranians
themselves to use when necessary (they may have used it already in the
drone operation inside Pakestan two days back cause the extent of damage
seemed to be more than 136 could do.)

Up to speeds of 500 km/hr it can be controlled and led flawlessly, and
from 500 to 600 km/hr controlling it becomes somewhat harder and it may
lose accuracy. But for travelling the bulk of the distance to reach the
target area of course it can be used at close to 600 km/hr, then from
then it has to reduce speed to below 500 km/hr to hit target as
accurately as it can.

The test of this was carried out last year but it didn't officially get
revealed back then. I think they probably used it in Pakestan operation
and became confident of its features working properly for the missions
it is built for. I don't know, but I don't think it can loiter as long
as 136 can; so it might specifically be the tool to use for targets
decided in advance, before launching it.

- The Pakestani government, understandably, became upset about Iran's
intrusion in its space and bombing the two terrorist bases. They almost
immediately responded to it by carrying out a very similar operation on
the Iran side of the border, bombing a small area with nobody but
Pakestanis living in there, killing a bunch of them. The latter may have
been carrying out terrorist attacks inside Pakestan but Iran has denied
that.

Who knows, the whole deal may have been decided on both sides before
even Iran's attack started.

But Iran _did_ warn Pakestanis, many times, about those two bases and
the terrorism that they were constantly inflicting inside the
Baluchestan areas of Iran. So this, at the worst, has not been that much
of a surprise.

The fact is that between Iran and Pakestan (and Iran and Iraq, as well
as Iran and Syria) there are important agreements regarding terrorist
activities, and the operations needed to counter them. So nothing in
fact was done by Iran illegally against Iraq and Pakestan and Syria in
the past week.

- Iraqis are pissed, too, (they pretend so) that they were not told of
the operations in north Iraq in advance. And Arabs too quickly put up a
front saying they don't condone such operations. This points to an
important piece of information :) Since exactly these same countries who
are showing their dismay, are the ones who have maintained some degree
of relations with the USA, this way of unanimously opposing such
operation indicates that they do not wish to be punished by the USA. And
this in turn reveals what's behind the scenes :) So what's the
connection of this to some "USA" that these countries are worried about?
The connection can only be one thing: _every_ single target that got hit
was financed - and more - by the Americans to conduct terrorist
operations inside Iran. That's why all these countries were fast to
repudiate Iran's actions. These countries had no other choice but to
show some phony objection to what Iran did.

Of all the countries there, only Yemen and Syria did not put up a phony
rejection of the attacks, and these two are the ones who are actively in
war with USA inside their own countries; they have no relations with USA
to worry about losing them.

So how's that for responding to a terrorist attack inside Iran, led,
financed, and helped in every possible way by Americans? 26 different
targets were destroyed, in three countries, all set up by the USA. This
is what I was trying to tell you in the last entry in this blog. The
toll will be high, so repeat your stupid mistakes as you wish.
