keeps losing half of its capacity to charge,
you're faced with a  ~30 thousand $ repair bill.

And, "No", the battery is NOT recycled.

But, hey, you successfully put the pollution there/then,
not here/now -- if you can put the pollution in China,
all the better... you "saved the planet".  Go Green ! (jk).
