Dear Colleagues,

Springer Publishers and I are considering book proposal submissions for monographs or contributed volumes for the recently launched Springer Book Series entitled "Signal Processing for Security Technologies." The series website is http://www.springer.com/series/13765

Below are some interesting facts about Springer and a brief description of the series.

Springer is one of the largest global scientific, technical, and medical publishers. SpringerLink is one of the leading science portals that includes more than 8 million documents, an ebook collection with more than 160,000 titles, journal archives digitized back to the first issues in the 1840s, and more than 30,000 protocols and 290 reference works.

Recent advances in sensor technology and computer hardware have led to an explosion in the number and diversity of signal processing applications in a variety disciplines and domains including astronomy, biology, chemistry, communications, defense, entertainment, finance, geology, medicine, and security. The goal of Springer's Advances in Signal Processing Based Security Technologies book series is to cover the latest theoretical and practical developments in the processing of various types of signals such as Audio, Speech, Chemical, Radar, Sonar, Image, and Video for security applications including cybersecurity and physical security (infrastructure, building, transportation, etc.). The intended audience includes students, researchers, and practitioners.

If you are interested in submitting a proposal for consideration for the series, please let me know and I will email a proposal form to you. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you for your consideration and I hope to hear from you soon.
