The brick building is my new engineering office, a modest hike down
the hill from my house. The hike back up isn't so modest.

Chenery Street. It ends at Glen Canyon, which has one of the two
remaining creeks in San Francisco. Sadly, all the rest have been paved
over. With bad paving, as you noted. Islais Creek is barely a trickle
now, but when the rainy season kicks in it will be fun. There's
actually a dam, The Glen Canyon Dam, and some impostor of the same
name somewhere back east.

And there was a dynamite factory.
