I seek a timing relay with some/all of the following: a) LV operation, 12-24VDC or AC b) Input triggers a one-shot output c) Intervals in hours, 1-14 or so. d) Reset that will terminate the one-shot, and await the next trigger. e) Two selectable one-shot times; this one I can handle with 2 relays with the outputs in parallel. I am looking at Crouzet, TE Connectivity, Omron, etc. Don't yet find any with reset inputs. Any suggestions? -- A host is a host from coast to coast.................wb8foz@nrk.com & no one will talk to a host that's close.......................... Unless the host (that isn't close).........................pob 1433 is busy, hung or dead....................................20915-1433

Have a look on 'programmable relays', i.e. small PLCs that are available from multiple vendors. Smallest ones typically have something like 4 output relays and 4-8 inputs. -- mikko

wire ~reset to "+12 in"
In other words to reset turn off the power to the relay.
This probably requires that the reset pulses are several milliseconds
long for reliable operaton.

I'm looking at the 175MD <https://www.marshbellofram.com/automatic-timing-controls/products/175md-din-rail-mount-multi-function-timer/> I'll have to open the power to reset, but Mode Q offers resetting the timeout that would be useful in this appliaction. They also have the brick TSE that is about the same price. -- A host is a host from coast to coast.................wb8foz@nrk.com & no one will talk to a host that's close..........................
