He can't ping 192.168.0.8 from 192.168.0.2 (his computer), but he can see the router at 192.168.0.1, so I'd say a firewall issue. He didn't post the ping from 192.168.0.8 and 192.168.0.2 to the router, so I'm at a lost as to whether the firewall block is at the router or his machine.
