I'm currently using sshoot at work and plan to use it more broadly from
now on so I'd like to help maintain it. Ideally I'd like to maintain it
as part of the python team which is also a recipient so they can know
in advance my intention.

If it's ok from the python team perspective, I'd need access to the team
in salsa. I've read and I accept the team's policy [1] and welcome
anyone helping to maintain it within the team (and from the outside via
MRs or patches to the BTS :-).
