Hello,

since the debian community is not as nice as I thought and I am
reducing my involvement, I am dropping python-ytmusicapi.

I had packaged it as a dependency for a youtube based audio player in
KDE that is not yet packaged.

If there are no takers I will ask for removal in one month.

Hi,


While I am sorry for you if you had a bad experience, I don't like reading the above. I feel like part of Debian, yet we don't know each-other, and it feels like I am included in the "I don't like you".


IMO writing like this s not the best way to make friends...


Instead, I'd suggest to come to a debconf like we just had, to get some feeling of how nice people really are !

thanks!

The module is RC buggy, I hadn't fixed it since it was not going to be
part of trixie anyway.

So that, plus when you upload the new version put yourself instead of
me in the uploader field.

It's on salsa in the team namespace like everything else.

No I didn't officially orphan it, just commit on salsa (you should
have write access if you are in the team) and upload.

If you are not a DD, ask someone to sponsor it. But not me, I've
stopped any mentoring/sponsoring activity.

Sounds interesting.  I would maintain such a thing as part of the Python team 
maintenance.  Could you just set it up for team maintenance?
