Hi folks,

I would like to be invited to join the python team.

I am currently one of the upstream maintainers of sos, as well as the DM
for sos in Debian [1] , as well as have PPU in Ubuntu. So, it would be
awesome to have sos under the umbrella, and work on this together. (I am
sure there are a couple of changes I will need in order to be accepted). I
am also working with another contributor to eventually become DM for sos,
so will need someone to sponsor his packages over time, so that he can
become DM eventually. Which means there is an RFS [1] currently which could
do with sponsorship. After this, I will make this repo in a state, that it
can be imported into the DPT, so that it is consistent with the policy.

I am also currently in the process of packaging avocado [3], and currently
need someone to help/sponsor this for me. It was sponsored previously, but
it was declined once it was in the process of the NEW queue, and since then
have made some adjustments. So, could really glean some advice/support on
this.

Being in the debian-python team would help me to learn, and hopefully I can
take on some other work that can help the team, with the hope to become DD
at some point in the future.

approx a month passes by ... (appreciate people are busy)

Would anyone be able to help, and get me invited on the Debian Python Team,
as well as look at the 2 RFS bugs for me please.

Thanks in advance
