Hello Folks, I still struggle with the bug system. I got this mail. What does it mean? Can someone translate this for human begins? I see no relevant context in the linked mailing list mail from year 2006. And what triggers such mails? It talks about a "new" tool named "bts-link". Yes. The tool that generated this email. It also explains how it works. In any case you don't need to care about it, not being a maintainer. -- WBR, wRAR

Hello Joost, thank you for explaining. It becomes clearer to me. I was not able to find a "bts-link" package to open a ticket. Is "devscripts" the related package I should use? Best Christian

Hi Christian, I think the message you got was triggered by activity on either https://bugs.debian.org/1106754 or https://github.com/bit-team/backintime/pull/2163 . The bts-link tool's purpose it to keep the Debian Bug Trackins System in sync with relevant information on upstream activity like e.g. github Pull Requests.
