A quick update on the progress done on this bug…

I joined the Debian Python Modules Team (DPTM) to work on this package
within the team.

I'm done with the initial packaging and the source code is available in
Alioth:

Now it is waiting for review and sponsorship within the DPTM:

I also uploaded it to mentors.debian.net, although I have not asked for
sponsorship there nor filed a RFS yet.
