Hi all,

I was looking into adopting the beets music tagger and bumped into a new 
dependency to be added to the debian packages: python3-lap, currently on 
mentors.

This would be my first package I contribute, it's a python module, I'm 
looking for advice on how to package it, will be looking for sponsorship 
and maybe I can help in the future maintaining other python packages. 
SpaciousCoder78 advised me to apply for joining the team, so I'm going 
with the flow :-)

I've read and accept the Debian Python Team - Policy at 
https://salsa.debian.org/python-team/tools/python-modules/-/blob/master/policy.rst. 
My salsa login is plenae.
